Dave's parents were here from CO this past week. We went up to his sister and brother-in-law's house so we could all be together to visit. The cousins really had a wonderful time playing together!

Kayleigh is 9 weeks today and what a week this past one has been for her! She tried out the bumbo seat for the first time, had her 2 month well-baby visit, took her 2 month pictures, said "ah-goo" to Daddy, and got her ears pierced. She will get to meet her Grandma and Grandpa Jarrett for the first time on Friday and then her Aunt Courtney and cousins next week! Along with her first Easter! So lots more fun stuff to come!

Kayleigh is 8 weeks old today and will be 2 months on the 21st. Where, oh, where has the time gone?! It is so fun watching all of her facial expressions, coos and her little mouth try to imitate your every move. We take her to the doctor for her 2 month well-baby checkup on Tuesday morning (as well as getting her 2 month pictures taken and possibly getting her ears pierced). Kinsey enjoyed reading books to Kayleigh on Tuesday morning while Jackson was at preschool. She was getting her up to date on all her favorites: 3 Little Pigs, Dora and Disney Princesses, of course. Jackson is posing below with his real potato head that he made at preschool . . . he was so excited a couple days ago when it finally started sprouting grass from the seeds. I was so relieved when it did finally sprout, since my brown thumb pretty much kills anything that has the potential of being green!

We had a few firsts and one last this week . . . Kinsey asked to have her fingers and toes painted! She was so excited having them painted PINK! Kayleigh had her first bottle from Grammy. Grammy and Papa came down and watched the kids so Dave and I could go out on a date. And Jackson had his last basketball game of his first season. He was the most focused today and of course now the season is over! Oh well : ) He was SO proud of the medal that they all got at the end of the game for participating. He kept saying, "I got a GOLD medal for winning at basketball!" (Maybe we watched too much Olympics). Of course, you will notice the red mustache that he adorned after every game . . . I think one of the most exciting parts of basketball for him was the bottle of red gatorade that he downed during each game!
