Our church had a Relay for Life dinner tonight and they had a special visit from Fredbird. We told Jackson right before we left that we were going to see him and he of course wanted to bring every Cardinal's thing he could hold on to. So he took his Build-A-Fredbird and his bat. As soon as we got to the church, Fredbird spotted us in line and ran over and stole the little Fredbird out of his hands and ran away with it. Jackson wasn't sure what to think, so we told him to go after him that he was just playing around. 
So he ran after him . . . gave him hugs and lots of high-5s. He really enjoyed watching Fredbird walk through the people and do all kinds of little antics. Kinsey on the other hand loved waving to him when he was FAR away, but as soon as he was looking at her or got anywhere close she would just SCREAM!! She did start to warm up a little bit before he left, but still would cry a little. It was a great surprise for Jackson . . . now he says he is ready to go to a Cardinal's game tonight!! Only 10 days until Opening Day : )
