Thanksgiving
Some highlights from Thanksgiving weekend . . . here is Pilgrim Jackson holding his craft stating "things he is thankful for" from preschool on Wednesday. The list: Christmas bears, stuffed animals, Mom and Sisters. There is one feather blank and he told me when he got home that was for Daddy!! On Thanksgiving Day, we had lunch at my Aunt Connie's (my dad's sister). The kids had a ball playing with Ellie and Lincoln. Here are Lincoln and Kinsey watching Toy Story 3 together (she thinks she is Jessie in the pink cowgirl hat). I can't imagine the conversations happening at that kid's table : ) Kayleigh LOVED her 1st Thanksgiving . . . she couldn't shovel it in fast enough . . . turkey, homemade noodles (my favorite!!! Thanks Grandma!!), mashed potatoes, rolls . . . she loved it ALL!! I kept cutting it up and putting it on her tray until I finally got the "all done" sign from her . . . I think she ate 30 minutes straight!! We had leftovers at my other Aunt Connie's (my mom's sister) for supper. We were totally stuffed, as usual, and the kids were completely EXHAUSTED but it was great getting to visit with family!!

Kinsey-isms
Kinsey says some of the funniest and sweetest things sometimes . . . here are a few lately.
"Oh, Mommy, you're SO sweet!"
I told Kinsey I had a headache, she responded, "Mommy, let me sing a song for you and that will make you feel better!" She proceeded to break out in song . . . something she was just making up as she went along!
"When I eat these pink muffins, I'll turn into PINKALICIOUS!!"
She runs around quoting "Fancy Nancy" a lot . . . "Ooo la la, my family is posh!!"
When she gets upset about something, especially her brother, "RRRR . . . I am NOT happy with you right now!!!"
At a funeral visitation, "When I get big, like her, I'm going to lay in one of those and and I'll get to go see Jesus too."
And my favorite words . . ."Mommy, can I snuggle with you?"

Kinsey is 3 . . .
We had a fun day celebrating Kinsey's 3rd birthday with family and friends. She requested a Dora birthday complete with sash and "Birthday Girl" crown. She has been very into Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious books lately . . . so "accessories" were important as well as "pink cupcakes". So we had BOTH! I think she was secretly hoping she would actually turn pink from eating all of her pink birthday cupcakes like Pinkalicious!!
Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating with us!
