Jackson had his preschool graduation last night at church. Every student graduates even if they have another year of preschool. Jackson was so cute walking down the isle with his little graduation hat. He was in the blue class this year, so he got to keep his little blue tassel from his hat. When we got home, he was sure to put it on the shelf with our college tassels. He also received a certificate and a little Bible (which he was very proud of). My mom was able to come down to share the evening with us and took him out for ice cream afterward (he informed us on the way home that we needed to go out for ice cream as a surprise!)
Here are a couple papers that he did at school. The first man colored blue is suppose to be a self-portrait from the very first day of school back in August. The second man was one he colored of himself the end of April. What a difference!!

The drawings are really impressive! It's always nice to see plain evidence that they are learning!
So there IS hope for Evan's coloring skills! That was a really good idea on the teacher's part to have the kids do that!
Yes, I'm so glad they did that! The first day I thought, "OH NO!" But boy has he come along way . . . still room to improve, but MUCH better than when we started : )
